I didn't feel like making this post last night due to Robin Williams, but have some mundanity and--as is becoming the norm--some Buddy stuff.

Tired becc is tired and stayed up way too late last night pounding out chapter 63 of FF. I got on a serious roll and now I'm only a few hundred to a thousand words away from finishing it. I think I can finish by chapter 65. I know I've said that before, but I really think I'm almost there. ( more about writing )

I was supposed to see Dr. P the dermatologist this morning (nothing's wrong; I just need a new scrip for my shampoo), but despite my alarm going off at 7am and then 7:30am, I didn't make it out of bed in time to get on the road and get there. So I spent about three grand today of my employer's money. That was kind of fun. As a result I will be going to Scottsdale, AZ in August (I know. I'm going to broil.) for a training class on ITIL Service Operations. I'm actually looking forward to the class, less so being in Arizona in August, but I'll survive and everything's air-conditioned ( Read more... )

The background here is that I have three computers at work I use on a regular to semi-regular basis. One is my work laptop, which these days tends to live at home so I can log in there and do stuff.
